polyurethane foam

Engineering company for trading and contracting one the leaders at the polyurethane foam trading, we have all kinds of polyurethane foam, the manufacture is dow chemicals.

Rigid polyurethane foams are used as insulation for buildings, water heaters, refrigerated transport, and commercial and residential refrigeration where their insulation value, high strength, moisture resistance and durability are required. Sprayed Polyurethane Foam (SPF) has been used for decades as a high performance commercial roofing system with significant insulation properties and leak prevention due to its monolithic seal over the entire roof structure.

Polyurethane foams are also used for flotation, packaging, furniture, adhesives, architectural design, and cavity filling. The applications and benefits that polyurethane foam provides are virtually limitless. We see more and more everyday. Sprayfoam.com is dedicated to sharing these applications and benefits with you in hopes that it will provide further education and market growth in this exciting industry.

 Spray Foam Roofing

SPF Roofing Systems provide many benefits to building owners. The two most prominent benefits are waterproofing/leak prevention and insulation value. Many additional benefits also exist such as superior compressive strength, lightweight, self-flashing, durable and long lasting.

There is no better home insulating material that can seal your home from air and moisture intrusion, save on costly utility bills, strengthen your home, and protect your health from dangerous mold than SPF home insulation.

 Stops air and moisture infiltration

Makes your home more comfortable

Saves on energy costs

Adds strength to the building structure

Its permanent and will not sag

Keeps dust and pollen out

Reduces maintenance and wear of HVAC equipment

Structural Backing for Spas / Hot Tubs

Sprayed polyurethane foam is also used for keeping hot tubs and spas warm.  The spa shell is typically formed by an acrylic, or other rigid elastomer.  SPF is then sprayed onto the backside for two reasons.  The first is its superior insulating properties.  The second is its stuctural ability to keep the tub from flexing and bending.

 Foam Packaging

Packaging foams are typically light density in nature to protect delicate instruments, electronic equipment, glassware and other products requiring protection from shipping. These foams can be rigid, flexible, open or closed cell. Although they can poured by hand, most are dispensed using modified spray equipment with a pouring head or with smaller pump systems designed only for packaging foam dispensing.

 Foam Cavity Filling

Polyurethane Foam is used widely in applications requiring injection and open cavity filling. The versatility of the product permits compounders to tailor the formulation to meet specific requirements. Depending on the needs it can serve as an excellent insulation medium or enhance the structural integrity of the finished product. The list of applications are too numerous to mention and new applications are being added everyday.

 Refrigeration / Walk-in Coolers

Polyurethane Foam is used in most ice coolers due to its superior thermal insulation properties. It is also used for creating the panels used in most walk-in refrigerated coolers. You will also find foam in picnic coolers and insulated flasks. Polyurethane Foam helps the cold stuff cold, and warm stuff warm.

 Construction Adhesives

SPF adhesives are used in many construction activities from roofing to manufactured home building to hurricane damage mitigation.

 Foam Flotation

Polyurethane Foam is used in numerous marine applications. The high strength to weight ratio plus its inherent resistance to gasoline and oil makes it an excellent choice as an integral part of the manufacture of boats, buoys, docks, and flotation devices. The adhesiveness of this product is superb. In addition, a cubic foot of a nominal two pound density Polyurethane Foam will support approximately sixty ( 60 ) pounds of dead weight in water. Polyurethane Foam can be sprayed or poured and systems can be tailored to meet most application requirements.
